Kaudena is one of the 99 Villages Development Committee in Sarlahi District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It has a population of 7792 people living in 1047 individual households. Area of the Village Development Committee is 8.736 square kilometers and density of the Village is 891.9.
Total population of the village has 7792 male 3987 and female 3805. Ratio of the VDC is 75% farmers, 15% business men and rest of the population is job holder. This located at 3 kms west from Malangwa, the district head quarter of Sarlahi.
Kaudena is Village Development Committee and is about 5.5 km west from the Malangwa, headquater of sarlahi. It includes three villages ; Kaudena,Parsa and Chhapkahiya. The name of VDC was kept as same as the village Kaudena which is much and more developed among these three villages at present. Parsa is very much close to kaudena and is about 100 meter southwest from the village. Chhapkahiya is located in south and is about 700 to 800 meters from the village. This village is well known for wheat, sugarcane, paddy crops.
